SSA Marks an 11-Year Journey: “Steel Riding the Waves – Steel Breaking Through”

Affirming the Spirit of Innovation and the Strength of Connection within Vietnam’s Steel Structure Community

On June 18, 2026, the Southern Steel Structure Association (SSA) successfully held its 11th Anniversary Celebration under the theme “Steel Riding the Waves – Steel Breaking Through.” The event provided an opportunity for the steel structure business community to reflect on its development journey, share future directions, and strengthen connections amid an increasingly dynamic market environment.

Over the past 11 years, SSA has steadily established itself as a reputable industry association, fostering collaboration, networking, and knowledge sharing among businesses, experts, and partners in the industrial construction sector.

Inspired by the resilience and continuous innovation of Vietnamese enterprises, the theme “Steel Riding the Waves – Steel Breaking Through” conveys a message of adaptability in the face of economic challenges while highlighting the determination to enhance competitiveness and achieve sustainable growth in the years ahead.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Le Duy Xuan, Chairman of the Southern Steel Structure Association and General Director of QSB Steel Co., Ltd., emphasized that market fluctuations continue to present new challenges for steel structure enterprises. However, these challenges also create opportunities for businesses to transform management practices, embrace technology, and build long-term competitive advantages.

A key highlight of the program was a series of specialized talk shows addressing issues of significant concern to the industry. During the session titled “Vietnamese Steel Structure Enterprises Amid China’s Overcapacity Crisis,” Dr. Bui Thanh Minh (Board IV) provided in-depth insights into the economic landscape, market trends, and strategies to strengthen the competitiveness of Vietnamese enterprises

In addition, experts from Austdoor Group presented the talk show “Smart Connectivity and Safety Solutions for Industrial Building Systems in Vietnam,” introducing advanced technological solutions that help optimize operations, enhance safety standards, and support the sustainable development of industrial facilities.

Beyond the technical discussions, the business networking and solution showcase area attracted considerable attention, providing participants with opportunities to present their capabilities, exchange practical experiences, and explore potential partnerships across the steel structure value chain.
